I guess what I'm trying to ask is it best to stay at Colours Oasis and take cabs to downtown or is there another choice close to downtown?

I stayed here 10 years ago when it was an exclusively gay male guesthouse and it was great! Now, the hotel is open to all and is just gay friendly. When it was all gay, it was easier to overlook this, but now one might as well stay at one of the many other gay friendly establishments located within walking distance of downtown.
